Bill Pickett AKA "The Bull-Dogger" (1870-1923)
Bill Pickett was born and raised in Texas. He was a rodeo cowboy, actor, and the inventor of bulldogging/steer wrestling technique (the process of subduing a steer by grabbing the horns, biting it's lip, and wrestling it to the ground). He later appeared in the silent films The Bull-Dogger(1921) and The Crimson Skull (1922). In 1971, Pickett was inducted into the Rodeo Hall Of Fame of the National Cowboy and Western History Museum. In 1989, Pickett was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame. In October 1994, the USPS re-released the corrected stamp honoring him in the Legends of the West collection.
Measuring Tips & Size Chart
Use a ribbon/string and ruler or a seamstress tape measure to determine your hat size. Start at the top of your ear and measure about 1/4 inch-1/2 inch upward (or as high as you want that feels the most comfortable to you). Next, from there measure the circumference of your head.
